THE WAYSIDE INN

72 WAYSIDE INN ROAD, SUDBURY, MIDDLESEX COUNTY, MASSACHUSETTS

Built in 1686, it is known as one of the oldest inns in the country. Henry Ford was the last private owner from 1923 – 1945 in hopes of developing the area into a historically oriented village and museum. Ford would eventually sell the property turning his attention  to create a museum at Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan. The Wayside Inn is still in operation today after 300 years of history.
