Crown molding is used at the top of a room where the wall meets the ceiling, giving it the name “crown.” It can be used in any room and is often used as a decorative element, capable of adding that final elegant touch. Depending on how you paint it, crown molding can either make a room, even one with a low ceiling, appear smaller or larger.
